I think Ricky needs to get back in the ring immediately and not take a long spell off to fatten up like he enjoys. He needs to recover from the loss mentally with a win against anybody. I think he should fight Witter-after he gets another win under his belt just to get the confidence in check. What does Witter’s words have anything to do with whether or not he fights him? Witter deserves the shot anyway and Hatton has made a lot of new fans this past year I think and it’ll be good business. This garbage about Witter ”attacking” Hatton in public is a bogus excuse not to fight him. Not giving him a shot is one thing, but the supposedly unacceptable trashtalk is an obvious lie. That’s not a reason. If it were, Hatton wouldn’t have considered fighting Floyd, I mean really. Did you all HEAR Floyd before the fight?
