Will Michael Owen Play Against Derby?
By: Emma | December 18, 2007
It has been predicted that there will only be a 50-50 chance that Michael Owen will be fit enough to play against Derby on Sunday.
He had originally been pencilled in by Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce. Since sustaining a thigh in the England friendly against Austria he has been unable to play.
“Hopefully Michael is going to get back into some form of training this week, and Derby might still be a bit soon, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed,” Allardyce said.
