When you read the specifications and features on many of the laptops being sold around the world they all seem to have much of the same things, but that is until now. It seems as if the Toshiba Qosmio G40 is the first to break the mold and become the first laptop to feature a HD DVD-RW drive.

However apart from this massive feature many of the other features on the Toshiba Qosmio G40 are much the same, firstly a 17 inch WUXGA screen, 2.2GHz T7500 Core 2 Duo processor and up to 4GB of RAM. When it comes to storage the Toshiba Qosmio G40 can take up to a 400GB Hard Drive, add to that twin HDTV tuners. According to Cheap Laptops the price will be about ¥400,000 ($3,530).
