IMulti-touch Whiteboard
Many of us go to stores and buy products without knowing that a lot of these gadgets can be homemade at a faction of the cost, it’s all about knowhow.

The video below shows how Johnny Chung Lee from Carnegie Mellon University made a really cheap Multi-touch Interactive Whiteboard from IR light pens and Nintendo Wii Remote.

In the video he explains really clearly how to create this set-up with a projector or LCD display, although as pointed out by others the pens could scratch your LCD.

One way around this might be a hard clear plastic cover or use a rounded LED pen, this video shows some of the most inventive use of the Wii Remote I have ever seen.

Johny Lee please e-mail me, I need to give you info. People patented your idea in SA and selling it under their name.
