John Singleton Signs On To Direct A-Team Movie

John Singleton, director of Shaft, has signed on to direct the big screen adaptation of the A-Team. That’s right, BA, Face, Murdoch and Hannibal will finally be coming to the silver screen at last! There have been rumours about this film for year but it’s only now that we’re seeing a big step forward into making the film a reality.

Speaking to BlackVoices.com, Singleton told of how he plans to update the show from the original premise. The film version will apparently ‘reflect contemporary issues and politics’. So, a film about Iraq war veterans it is then!

It’s going to be a tough job casting the lead roles. Who is going to be able to fill the shoes of such an iconic foursome? Who would you cast as BA, Face, Murdoch and Hannibal?
