Farouk Systems Inc. Recall WEE CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Irons Due To Fire Hazard

Farouk Systems Inc. have recalled their Hairstyling Irons due to fire and burn hazards. It is advised that owners of the Hairstyling Irons stop using the product immediately.

The WEE CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Irons were sold at professional beauty supply distributors and salons across the US from April 2006 to September 2007 for $160. 5,700 units of the irons have been recalled due to the on/off switch being installed correctly. This means that when the iron is plugged in and the switch is in the ‘off’ position, the hairstyling irons remain on which pose fire and burn hazards.

The company are urging customers to stop using the product and contact them to return the product in return for a full refund or replacement iron.
