Billy Goat MultiVac Outdoor Vacuums Recalled By Billy Goat Industries Inc.

Billy Goat Industries Inc. are recalling their outdoor vacuums with Honda Engines after it was found that they post a Fire Hazard. 1,600 units of The Billy Goat MultiVac Outdoor Vacuums have been recalled due to the risk of the fuel tank cracking causing a fuel leak.

There have been no reports of injuries but the company are urging consumers to stop using the products immediately and contact a Billy Goat or Honda Lawn and Garden dealer for a free fuel tank replacement. If you’re a registered owner of a vacuum you will be mailed a notice.

The Vacuums were sold at outdoor power equipment and rental dealers nationwide from June 2007 through November 2007 for around $1,500 and $1,850.
