Powering a TV using one AAA battery: Fake or Real?

I have not tested it of yet, but I have heard others claim it will work because “in an av cable, they have capacitors in them that give the video and audio more quality”.

You can see the video below showing you how to do it and they also claim you need Duct tape, an RCA cable and one AAA battery before starting.
If it really works I wonder how long it will last.
Here is one persons comment on why he thinks this does not work “Fake, due to the simple fact that disposable batteries such as the AAA one used in the video supply a direct current (DC), while power points in a house provide alternating current (AC). A piece of equipment designed to use AC will NOT work with a DC supply. Additionally, a standard US power plug has two prongs, one of which is neutral (i.e. no current passes through it) and the other one being live. Connecting the negative or positive end of a battery to the neutral wire is just stupid”.
