Kmart has recalled their Basic Editions Girls’ Clothing Sets due to entrapment hazards caused by the drawstrings. Around 13,000 units of the clothing sets have been recalled by Kmart and the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission.
There have been no reported injuries but consumers are advised to stop using the recalled products and remove the drawstring which will eliminate the hazard.
The recalled two-piece set consists of olive-coloured knit pants with a fully-tunnelled waist drawstring and a pink short-sleeved top with necktie. The set was sold in Kmart stores nationwide during July 2007 for around $17.

For more information, customers can contact Kmart at (800) 659-7026 between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. (mon-sat) or visit www.kmart.com
