Second Life Politics
It’s really interesting to see the increased role Second Life is playing for governments worldwide, and here is another story that involves US Representative Edward Markey who was not able to attend the Bali United Nations climate change summit.

So he had a Second Life avatar modeled after him, Mashable reported Edward Markey told the audience “I have teleported here over the Internet.

Edward Markey’s heart seems to be in the right place and he is very committed by being the chairman of the House Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet. He is also the chairman of the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.

What do you think of governments using Second Life more and more?
