Eco Friendly Wind-Up Sony Digital Camera: ODO Twirl N Take

We should all be thinking more about the environment more everyday and it’s great to see that companies like Sony are thinking this way with their new Eco Friendly Wind-Up Sony Digital Camera, the “ODO Twirl N Take” pictured above.

This concept camera (yes its all in the mind at this time) lets you just spin the wheel for around 15 seconds to get enough juice to take a single photograph. Now although that’s not long it’s a fantastic idea to just spin the wheel for 15 seconds everytime before you take a photo.

That’s as long as you do not need two photos within 15 seconds. If you look at the photo you can see the camera is installed in the handle and if you wish to see your photos you have to connect the camera to a computer.

So to improve this concept lets see an LCD in the handle, but then I guess that means another spin of the wheel.
