Sean Bean to Stand Down as Director for Sheffield United

It has been announced that Sean Bean a lifelong Sheffield United fan will stand down as a Director for Sheffield United, he was invited onto the board in 2002 by plc chairman Kevin McCabe, but Bean has said that he is more comfortable on the terraces with the fans rather than being in the board room.
“The club has come on leaps and bounds in the past five years and I’m proud to have played a small part in that.” The Sheffield Star said.
