Guillermo Del Toro Takes On The ‘Hater’

It has been reported that Guillermo Del Toro, who already has a jam-packed diary, is set to make Hater for Universal. Hater will be an adaptation of the David Moody book of the same name.

It is said that the plot is very dark and starts with society being rocked after a sudden increase in the number of violent assaults on individuals. The media soon brand them ‘Haters’. These Haters attack brutally, with no warning. There are no links between the ‘Haters’ or their victims and no apparent reason for their violence.

Everyone, despite age, race, gender, or any other difference has the potential to become a Hater or a Victim… Scary stuff.

I think Del Toro will rock this film, it’s got to be extremely dark for it to work, but I’ve no doubt he’ll be able to pull it off.
