Casino Royale may have changed the look of Bond, but many things stayed the same, including the need of a down right dirty villain and the bad guys will always need a henchman. So, with casting for Bond 22 underway, we’ve already got our villain but where’s the henchman at?
Well, it’s been reported that he will be coming in the shape of Swiss actor Anatole Taubman. Little-known Taubman played the Crematory Technician in the movie Equilibrium, which was a great movie.
He has currently spoke on Swiss TV about the role in Bond saying, ‘James Bond - that’s like playing the Champions League. For a European actor, this is like a gold ticket. There’s nothing better. I’m very happy.’ At least he’s grateful!

Taubman didn’t really say much else about the role, only that it involved a lot of training and involves lots of action and dialogue. Will this be a new type of henchman we’ll be seeing in Bond 22?
