It’s a known fact that in Britain we can’t get enough of a great crime movie. So, imagine my delight to find out that not only is a new crime movie coming, it’s rocking an amazing cast and has uber-scribes behind it. This new crime offering comes in the form of The Bank Job.
Starring Jason Statham, and a whole host of Britain’s favourite faces, the movie was written by Dick Clement and Ian Le Frenais (the guys who wrote porridge!). Based on a true story and set in 1971, The Bank Job tells the story of the thieves who tunnelled into the vault of a bank in London’s Baker Street and looted safe deposit boxes of cash and jewellery worth over three million pounds. No one was ever arrested.
The Bank Job will be available for your viewing pleasure at the end of February. To tide you over til then, check out these exclusive pictures from the film.
