F1 driver Fernando Alonso has returned to Renault for 2008

You would not have to be a genius to know that once Fernando Alonso parted company with F1 Team McLaren he would want to go back to his former team Renault. Well guess what people we have now learned that two times Formula One World Champion Alonso is set to return to Renault for the 2008 season.

The 26-year-old driver will partner Nelson Piquet Jr, according to itv-f1.com this could be the most exiting team to watch. We know how good Fernando is and he will now feel comfortable being the number one driver in a team that he loves, and a young and exited new driver which is Nelson Piquet Jr.

I do wish Alonso all the best, but it seems as if he hates to have a strong driver in the same team, but I am best not to get into that as I am a McLaren man after all.
