Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep To Reteam on Julie & Julia

The fabulous duo from The Devil Wears Prada Stanley Tucci and Meryl Streep are set to reteam for Julie & Julia, Columbia Pictures’ new film. Variety are also reporting that Amy Adams will star in the film directed by Nora Ephron.

It is said that Tucci is currently in negotiations to play Streep’s character, Julia Child’s husband.

The film follows the story of a frustrated temp who enrols on a yearlong culinary quest to cook all 524 recipes in Julia’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking’. She blogs throughout her experience, grabbing the attention of the food crowd.

The film’s script was adapted by Ephron from Julie Powell’s book “Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen”.
