Sony PS3’s LittleBigPlanet: good music in this game trailer

This might now be a game that will make you buy the Sony PS3, but LittleBigPlanet has great music and some gamers cannot get enough of LBP.
Below you can watch a gameplay video of LittleBigPlanet which looks fantastic, I have hard many PS3 owners claiming that this game is on top of their list of “Must buys in 2008”.
If you are one of the few PS3 gamers that are not online then this game will not really be for you, in my opinion you need to like making stuff and be online to fully enjoy LBP.
The Nintendo Wii has become known for its childish games and now it looks like the Playstation 3 has one as well.

LBP is NOT a childs game. Children can play it………. but it’s not made for children. Some of the levels u can create are simply amzing, and require quite a high bit of intelligence. So this is not a bloody wii game. It’s the PS3 at its best baby!!!

WAIT you are saying if someone does not have their console online, then not to buy? LMAO, geez, even without online, you can create endless, i repeat, ENDLESS LEVELS for you and up to 4 of your friends to create and share together, no offense, but in my opinion, your opinion is shit.

sure you can make as much stuff as you like but i prefer downloading other peoples levels and playing them. for instance the pirate ship in the video. i would never have thought of that but it looks realy cool. so that would be a definate donload for me. its his opinion and he deserves to have one. i agree the game looses a lot if not connected to psn. it depends on the amount of stuff that comes with it weather or not it is worth a purchase without online.
I just don’t get the concept of this game. I’ve read some reviews and I guess my college education isn’t enough to grasp the concept.
Now watching the video, I’m even more confused.
I was under the impression that you built things and sold them online. Not sure what kind of things you are supposed to build, but I digress.
After watching the video, am I to assume that you build pirate ships and run them through a self-made level? And that this is something you would sell to another person online?
And yes, it is very bad marketing to tell people not to buy the game if they aren’t online. At least let them buy the game and perhaps they’d go online because of it.

Good point, and i agree, this game will be leaps and bounds more fun online than offline, but I was merely going against the author’s opinion(attempt at viral marketing) that people who are not online should not buy this game. Which is stupid. My console is online, but even if it weren’t i would still buy this game
@ Craig, I will try to explain the game a little as your view is slightly narrowed. The pirate ship is an example, something someone built from the ground up, there is no buying of others levels, its all free, just download the best levels, or make your own, or play the levels that come with the game, It’s basically a platformer that you can create anything you want in, it’s all physics based so the goals, and enemies are all phyiscs based, hope that helps, check youtube there is a 20 min. demo on there that gives you a good idea of the create side of the game
