Cary Elwes Joins The Impressive Cast Of A Christmas Carol

Cary Elwes is the latest star to join the ever-growing cast list for Robert Zemeckis’ A Christmas Carol. He will be joining the likes of Bob Hoskins, Colin Firth, Gary Oldman, Robin Wright Penn and Jim Carrey.

It has been reported that Elwes will play a few roles in the performance capture/Disney digital 3-D film. Jim Carrey will don the sleeping cap for the role of Ebenezer Scrooge, The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Future.

Walt Disney are hoping for a November 6, 2009 release.
