Solar Powered Wheelchair Developed by University

A team from a University in Southern Taiwan has came up with a wheelchair which is solar powered wheelchair which retails for cheaper than the current manual and electric models which are available, these wheelchairs would help to cut down on electronic waste which is produced.
The solar powered wheelchair could also last longer than electric chairs as it doesn’t have to be charged up which means its helping the environment and also saves the owner using the electric. The chair will be mass produced and the team have applied for a patent.
