Disciplinary proceedings have been opened by UEFA against Anderlecht after the UEFA Cup clash against Tottenham. It appears that Didier Zokora was hit by a lighter which has been thrown from the crowd and Paul Robinson, Spurs goalkeeper was also targeted.
A Uefa spokesman said: “Uefa have opened disciplinary proceedings against Anderlecht for the throwing of objects by spectators.”
Earlier in the season the team have already been fined due to crowd disturbances against Fenerbahce, and it is said that UEFA officials will take previous matters into consideration. The punishments can range from expulsion from the tournament or a fine.
