Sky News Online Removes Madeleine Link: Is it all over for the missing girl?

Sky News Online has been one of the news sites that has been at the forefront of bringing the latest in Madeleine news. So, it came as a shock for many when they realised that the Madeleine link on the homepage had been removed. What does this mean for the missing four-year-old? Have people lost faith in keeping Madeleine in the news because there have been no developments now for months?
Sky News Online Editor Steve Bennedik has written on his blog that removing the link doesn’t mean that poor Madeleine is forgotten. He went on to say that
“Our move is simply a recognition that seven months after she went missing, Madeleine’s story is no longer dominating the news in the way it was, and we can no longer justify its prominence. I know this will be disappointing for many of you, while the search for Madeleine remains unresolved. But I hope you understand why we’ve made this decision”.
So, what do you think? Should they have removed the link when they redesigned the site or do you think it’s important to keep Madeleine in the news?
