American airlines has announced its will be soon offering in-flight Wi-Fi web connections for laptop and BlackBerry users.

This new in-flight service will mean that the passengers will no longer have to just sit back and listen to music or watch a film; they will also have full access to the web.

This may sound like an astounding idea but it will not allow regular surfing.

The first flight to be offering this service will take off on December 11th
