Internet Explorer vs. Firefox: what browser is more secure?
Well it is the age old question amongst internet users and that is, what is the more secure browser Internet Explorer or Firefox. As you would expect Jeff Jones from Microsoft’s Trustworthy Computing Group has stated that Internet Explorer is more secure over its competition Mozilla Firefox. Jones goes on to say that although both browsers have their vulnerabilities and significant flaws, many experts believe that this study is flawed.

We all have our views on this; I am no expert on this so I would like to hear what you have to say for yourself. One thing I must say is, I do like Firefox but I do find that it does sometimes lock up, what is all that about?

  1. I always tell people to use Maxthon, from maxthon.com. I dunno about which is “most secure” but it’s really not an issue if you have a good A/V program, a router, etc. Maxthon is IE-based and I’ve never had issues.
