Gerard Butler To Join Wolverine Cast?

According to CHUD.com, the upcoming Wolverine spin-off movie will be getting a big dollop of manliness courtesy of Gerard Butler. Jackman and Butler? What could be better?

Apparently, Butler is in negotiations to play Creed, a villain who eventually becomes Sabretooth. Any X-Men fan will know that Sabretooth is Wolverines mortal enemy. Now would be the perfect time for Butler to sign on, especially after Escape From New York fell apart at the seams.

Many people think Butler would’ve made a fantastic Wolverine, so it’s only natural to cast him as his mortal enemy!

Another casting rumour floating in from the depths of CHUD.com is that Gavin Hood is hankering after the beautiful Natalie Portman for the role of Kayla. The role is undefined, but I’m sure Portman would be a great choice.

If those rumours weren’t enough for you then you’ll be wanting more right? Well how about reports of the film featuring the character Deadpool. For those who don’t know, Deadpool originated in Weapon X. Still want more? Well, rumour has it that Ryan Reynolds is tipped for the role (now that Adam Brody’s secured the role of The Flash in JLA).

So, Jackman, Butler, and Reynolds! Form an orderly queue on release day ladies!
