Ford Motor Co to recall 1.2 million trucks and SUVs due to faulty sensor
It is being reported that the Ford Motor Co is to recall almost 1.2 million trucks and SUV’s, the reason for this is due to a faulty sensor which could in fact cause the engine to stall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has said that the recall covers the Ford F-450 Super Duty trucks, E-Series vans from model years 1997 through 2003, and also the Excursion SUVs all of these vehicles are powered by a 7.3 liter diesel engine.

The faulty sensor is the camshaft-sensor circuit, which over time can degrade and as we said the engine could cut-out; this could be bad news if you were driving at the time. According to marketwatch.com owners of these vehicles will be notified by Ford on December 17, where they will be able to take their vehicles back to a shop to have them repaired free of charge.
