Call of Duty 4 1.3 Patch: improves pure client test & sniper rifle accuracy

I though it was just me being a bad shot a long distances with the sniper rifle then I hear about this Call of Duty 4 1.3 Patch which improves pure client test and sniper rifle accuracy.

So maybe I will start hitting the target a bit more when going sniper and stop using the MP4 all the time.

On a side note, I love using the silencer so I do not get a red dot show up on the map everytime I take a shot, is this something you do. If not why?
