Audi chief says diesels more important than hybrids: watch video

Many automakers have been trying to convince us that Hybrids are the future when it comes to automobiles, but it seems as if Audi Chief Rupert Stadler does not share this view as he seems to support the diesel option instead by saying diesels are more important than hybrids.

In a recent interview Stadler was asked the question which technology do you see being bigger in the U.S either Diesel or Hybrid, and his answer was Diesel. I do agree with the Audi Chief in one respect, the consumers in the United States have favored the diesel engine for some time now and that is going to be hard to get them to change that.
