Stargate Atlantis: do you miss Stargate SG-1?

Stargate Atlantis

Do not get me wrong, I love the new Stargate Atlantis and could not wait for it to hit the TV again but I just keep thinking of how much I miss Stargate SG-1.

The last few Stargate Atlantis episodes have been “Just Ok”, I have enjoyed them just as I do anything Stargate, but they have not been like some of the episodes in the past on Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis. When we had both on TV, I had much more chance of seeing amazing episodes.

Maybe we need to see a bit more of the Ancients or maybe even bring back Anubis as they could only slow him down.

Do you miss Stargate SG-1 and would you like to see Anubis come back?

yes and no. I enjoy SGA, although yes, the writing could be better (as it could have been on SG1 as well). I miss the earlier years of SG1 more than the latter, and no, Anubis is gone (right?) so let’s leave him dead :)

Yes, I totally miss SG1; however, I do like SGA, too. I agree that the early years of SG1 were the best. It looks like we’ll be getting Teal’c in a SGA episode this season and apparently, the writers are interested in having Daniel make an appearance next season.

Also, Apophis is still my favorite. If there was a Gou’ld to bring back that would be my vote.

    Yeah, I miss it… I miss Atlantis, too…

I’ve really given Universe a try, but it’s too dry, too dull… too much talk, too little action.

I want the cheesy adventure back. Cheese tastes good.

I totally miss the awesome adventures that SG1 & SGA had. SGA was my favorite. SGU is borning and not entertaining. I wish they can bring back the old characters back.

    A true Sci-Fi Fan
