Analysts who have been looking closely at the sales of the Apple iPhone in Europe have said that the sales are much better than they expected. Mike Abramsky from RBC Capital expects Apple to sell 400,000 to 500,000 of these handsets in just its first quarter in Europe, Abramsky goes on to say that Apple could sell at least 4 million iPhones in Europe in 2008.

Mike also expects the Apple to shift about 12.5 million handsets worldwide, and once the company launches a 3G version in other countries then these numbers will soar. As Mike Abramsky is an analyst, he gets a bit involved so you should read more on his article at seekingalpha.com
