Hitachi pulled plug on RPTVs now Seiko Epson ceases production

First it was Hitachi pulling the plug on its own RPTVs under a month ago and now we are hearing that Seiko Epson are announcing they are discontinuing the production and sales of its rear-projection televisions.

This I am sure is all very obvious as when you walk into any TV store all you see are flat panel TVs, but I guess it was just a matter of time.

Do you think most companies should now start ending production and sales of CRT TV’s?
