General Electric has announced that about 92,000 of their microwave ovens will be affected by this recall and also include their conventional wall ovens as well.

If you are the owner of one of these then GE advise that you stop using them and consult with either them or The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The reason for the recall is that the door switch can overheat and this will cause the plastic to ignite which poses a fire hazard.
