First Look: Speed Racer Production Photos Online

The first eight production pictures from the Wachowski brothers’ Speed Racer have been snagged by USA Today. The pictures are definitely not what I was expecting, the whole look of the film is, well, colourful.

From the picture it seems that the studio have taken the cartoon look and seriously ran with it. Will this be a little too cartoonish for the Matrix fans who were highly anticipating the film? Maybe, but it has the perfect family film look. We all know that family films mean big bucks at the box office.
