Microsoft is deliberately fueling HD DVD vs. Blu-ray war: According to Michael Bay
According to Transformers director Michael Bay, Microsoft is deliberately fueling the format war of HD DVD vs. Blu-ray. Bay also claims that Microsoft is writing $100 million checks to movie studios, so that the software giant has HD DVD exclusives a move that will hurt the market.

According to macdailynews.com, Michael feels that it should be down to the merit of the format that makes either HD DVD or Blu-ray the winner, Bay is still not happy with the movie studio for only allowing Transformers on HD DVD and not on his preferred format of Blu-ray.
