Watch The First Five Minutes Of The Golden Compass

The first five minutes of the highly-anticipated The Golden Compass has been posted on Yahoo! Movies. The film, written and directed by Chris Weitz is an adaptation of Philip Pullman’s novel has caused some controversy recently over it’s religious themes but none the less, it’s opening on December 7th will see huge box office takings.

The fantasy film stars Nicole Kidman, Sam Elliot, Eva Green and Dakota Blue Richards. Also lending their voices to the movie are Ian McKellen, Ian McShane, Freddy Highmore and Kathy Bates.
