Ron Paul defended anti-abortion stance during The View

Ron Paul was on “The View” Tuesday and got a grilling from the women hosts, although Ron Paul is extremely popular online and as we mention earlier today that he’s trying to “translate his Internet revolution into real votes” with a long-shot bid for the Republican nomination.
On the show Ron Paul defended his anti-abortion stance, he also admitted that he was “unlikely to convince the pro-choice women of his position”.
Ron Paul wants governments to be able to decide for themselves how to regulate abortion and he also feels this should be done at local level the way the constitution mandates.
Do you feel that it is impossible to completely outlaw abortion nationally?

Yes, I feel it would be imposable to outlaw abortion in all fifty states.
The battle would rage as it still does.
The only difference would be that people would get more control over how it would turn out locally.
Rock On Ron Paul !!!
Of course outlawing abortion nationally will never happen - that’s why it should be left up to the States as Ron Paul suggests.
Why do we want the federal government involved in this anyway? If they can control this decision in your life then that justifies them controlling every aspect of your life. No thank you - I want a say in how my life is run.
To me, this isn’t an issues of abortion, it’s a principle of what is or is not Constitutional. The Constitution does not give the Federal Government the right to decide on abortion - simple as that. Leave it to the people.

I watched the show. I thought the ladies of The View came across as muddle headed scatterbrains. Prior to Rons appearance one of the hosts, Sherry, didnt even understand that the Greek civilization predated Christ by almost a thousands years. How can these bird brains really be expected to talk about any issues. I miss Rosie. She was the only host with any real depth or knowledge. Under the circumstances Ron Paul did fine.
