New Xbox 360 Web Browser
This is a video of a new Xbox 360 Web Browser; the video was found via Game Trailers and shows the web browser in action.

Many gamers of competing consoles will see this not amazing as they have had web browsers for a while (Sony PS3 & PSP, Nintendo Wii).

You can watch the video below, I do think it looks a little fake and other gamers have also said the same thing.

What do you think, is this 360 web browser real or a fake?

Wow, this is a plugin for media center. Its been around for a long time.

They also have an emulator that runs this way too, cant remember what console it emulates as it was also such a long time ago.

Anyhow, good to see the news spread, even if its several months old.

is this part of the fall update?

it’s a media center browser = nothing new

  4. Gamer says:

This is in fact a web browser being used on the Xbox 360 console. However, it is not installed on the Xbox. Here is how this is done: First off, the xbox is connected to a computer. Now this isn’t just any computer, it is a “MCE computer.” Good new is, many people have these and may not even know it. MCE = Media Center Edition. For example, Windows Vista Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate are good to go (They have a piece of software installed called Windows Media Center). So, to make a long story short, a plugin is installed on the Windows Media Center software and then the xbox connects to Windows Media Center on the computer and wala, you are browing the web in no time with no special configuration necessary.
