Unboxing of the Nintendo Wii Fit: no rechargeable batteries
December 3, 2007 | Filed under Game Video & Trailers, Gaming, Nintendo Wii

This is a video of the Nintendo Wii Fit getting unboxed and normally I might even agree that unboxing can be boring, but the reason we need it is to see what’s really inside the package…in this case we see that there are no rechargeable batteries.
You would think something as basic as rechargeable batteries would be included with the Wii Fit, I could never do with out my dock to recharge my wiimotes.
I just guess that Nintendo really doesn’t believe in rechargeable battery packs, but I have to say a big thank you for bringing another toy that will get used big time at parties.

Can’t you just be glad you’re getting free batteries and get rechargable one’s yourself? It would add almost $10 to the cost, if not more, for 4 rechargable batteries. I already have 4, so I dont’ want to pay $10 or more extra to get more.
Who cares if the device doesn’t come with rechargeable batteries? Besides portable handheld devices, there isn’t one device that comes with them. Do you want Nintendo to supply you with a recharging station too? Perhaps you’d prefer that the device didn’t come with any batteries? Silly, silly article.
you two are morons. it is rediculous that they keep releasing non rechargeable stuff. The PS3 controllers are rechargeable. why the hell do you need a recharge station? its powered of 4 AA’s its not that power hungry. you could recharge it with a basic usb charger. nearly all devices have these nowdays.
Nintendo are just keeping costs low. and possibly getting backhanders from duracell.
@Bob, Keeping costs low… why would that be? hmm…. maybe because Nintendo-products actually are cheap?? Recharging would be a nice feature. Just like Troy I’m happy that I don’t have to pay for rechargable batteries or accupacks while buying brand X batteries is way cheaper and easier to use!
