Korean Quarry Worker Exploding Mobile Phone Hoax

A few days ago JP wrote a post on a Korean quarry worker who was thought to of died from an exploding mobile.

After an intense investigation this may seem that this is all a hoax, LG have been undertaking a number of tests to see if this is possible,

The forensic team that are taking charge of this investigation have already said the extent of the victim’s injuries could not have been caused by an exploding phone battery.

In my opinion this all looks a little strange, is seems only one person saw anything (in a quarry full of workers) said he heard an explosion and found the man burning.
Is this a Hoax?
