First Month Ever Sony PS3 outsells Nintendo Wii in Japan

A little while ago Daniel wrote a post on the Sony PS3 outselling the Nintendo Wii for two weeks, well you can now add another two weeks to that, that’s right 1 month.
The total sales in Japan have proven that the PS3 is more popular than the Wii, is this a trend that will carry on?
In my opinion the Sony PS3 is by far the best games console on the market and will be for many years to come, sure the Nintendo Wii is ok but it just doesn’t have a lot to offer, sure its good when you have had a drink but that’s about all, but on the other hand the PS3 well what more do I need to say, the PS3, it just lives up to every expectation.
For the small minority out there that loves the Wii then, fair play (someone has to)

Break the figures down..
First 2 weeks wii was outsold.
3rd week even sales.
4th week Wii outsold PS3.
What can that be put down to?
New 40gb ps3 launch (less featured version) beginning of month.
More PS3s available nationwide than Wiis.
PS3 needstop continue for at least 3 months before we see a proper change.
Plus, I doubt Sony’s factories are producing in Wii numbers yet.

This means nothing yet, as of now this is just a spike from the new 40gb ps3.

PS3 is the best console? That’s what you think, while the Wii is more interactive than the PS3. Why does the PS3 controller is very similar to the PS2. Even the wii is being used in hospitals to save people from strokes, what the f**k does the PS3 just brings out crappy same shoot em ups with bores me to the ground I’d rather have a buffalo taking a dump on my year than playing the PS3 and the wii has a lot to offer just don’t take the piss out of the wii. In my opinion I even play the NES more than my PS3. Ha so it can’t make the ps3 best cant it now! Ok lets see here, PS3 outsold in “JAPAN” the Wii in November. Lets think here, Availability, might have something to do with it. 40 gig Hard drive might have something to do with it. The fact that the PS3 is now a wopping 200 dollars cheaper might have something to do with it…oh but that must be because of the hard drive right? those 40 gigs are 200 dollars cheaper than the other ones in the 600 dollar model. Do you think when you type or do you just like throwing up on your keyboard. For every PS3 sold they are still taking a loss, From day 1 the Wii has made nintendo money, Sony has sold its chip plant to (Toshiba-direct competitor in hddvd sales), and is still not winning that race too. I mean come on man, did you really want to type this? Nintendo is has now put out Mario Galaxy, Mario/Sonic, Mario Brawl, we still have Mario Golf, Tenis, Kart, All Prob. Online, not to mention the hand full of develpers that walked away from PS3 this year, We will see what 2008 Brings for the Gaming market, my call, More of the same, Nintendo in front, bringing new and exciting features and channels, sony…behind, with more of the same from the 1st and 2nd generations, why not just call it a HDPS2!!! might have sold better.

I tell you what, I sure hope your get paid to write this crap, because if you do, hopefully your boss gets paid to read it, and if he does, he will give me your job because this is one of the worst articles I have read. We will see on December 13, when NPD releases the numbers for sales, but with the expectations, I would put the Wii way up. Dont hold your breath for sony, Lets not forget, the BEST place to get a Wii this xmas is EBAY. If you want a PS3 let me know, I’ll point you to the local, Bestbuy, walmart, sears…must I go on.
