Christian Bale Confirmed As John Connor In Terminator 4

Last month, rumours were floating around that Christian Bale was in talks to play John Connor in McG’s upcoming Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. Many thought the idea was ridiculous. Why would such an astute actor want to sign on to a sequel which many people think will bomb?

The rumour was written off and nothing more heard about it. Until now that is! Good old Variety have confirmed the rumour. According to them, Bale is in final negotiations to play John Connor during the battle between humanity and Skynet. Other than that, no further details are know, although there is a rumour that the role of Connor is just a supporting role.

With Bale signing on to Terminator 4, maybe there’s something about the film that we don’t know about yet - maybe this movie could actually be very good…?
