update for Xbox 360
Although I have moved over to the Sony PS3 because of many problems with my Xbox 360, I must admit that the dashboard and 360’s software like chat are far better than the PS3’s.

Although the PS3’s hardware is much more reliable than the 360’s and it’s a shame when I hear about the fall update to the 360 and all its new features.

Below is a video showing a walkthrough of the fall dashboard update for the Xbox 360, some gamers will hate the parent timer and love the new ability to download movies and full Xbox games from “Xbox Originals”…Halo 2 will be hot.

The most anticipated update is not in this fall update, which is DIVX support.

Update:
We are now hearing that MPGEG-4 Part 2 ASP & SP, Xvid and DivX are now going to be supported.

Man, your missing out. Mass Effect is freaking awesome. One of the greatest games I’ve ever played.

Seriously Daniel. How can you be a video game blogger and not have a 360?

Oh and BTW, Divx/Xvid is in this Fall update. I guess you didn’t have a close enough look at the full feature list.

  2. ApplePie says:

Video will be available in Canada, no?

  3. Josh says:

its a sad day when a video game reviewer gets rid of the best console, tut tut lol

  4. Charles says:

Yeah I’ve heard him go on about His 360 not being reliable many times. Have you heard of a 3 warrenty dude. If you send it in it will work fine. They have fixed the problem you know. Or do you not look at that kinda news.

  5. Charles says:

Sorry. that is 3 year Warrenty.

  6. Daniel says:

The 3 year warranty is only for RROD and my 360 died first with that and after without 3 red lights…it just crashed within seconds everytime.

So if you phone them up, you will learn that the 3 years warranty is only for RROD…the 360 is great, the hardware is letting over 30% of owners down.

  7. Sony says:

I used to be a Sony supporter in the gaming division but not anymore. I really don’t know individuals that are affected by the the RROD. I think it’s jokers that chose to treat the 360 like a PS2 and plop it anywhere including carpet. Just like it’s not wise to put a CPU on carpet or somewhere not well-ventilated, the same holds true for this generation’s gaming consoles. My main beef doesn’t even have anything to do with this joker’s article. My beef is with the developers charging $60 for games. I thought this nonsense might last 1 year. It’s time gamers unite and force these characters to drop the prices. The only good games I’ve played so far this generation are Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, COD4 and the rest were aiight at most. I can’t speak for Halo 3 or that utopian one (can’t think of the name) mainly cause I stay away from FPS except COD.

lame updates. They get excited about family setting, f-ing nerds.

  9. Ivan_PSP says:

Yes, PS3 is way beyong better then the Crapbox 180. Wise choice you made we have a huge massive enormous library of PEFRFECT Games. Unlike the GayBox 180 which just has FPS made by other companies. Microsoft has all their customers brain washed with FPS and Xbox Live cuzz they love staeling your money. The Xbox 360 aka Gaybox Crapbox UselessjunkBox 180 is a technical nightmare. Unlike the PS3 which is made PERFECT. Check out our list A+ games is really big Sony’s loves their PS3 not just their money like Microsoft.

  10. Alan says:

Ivan PSP - Thank you for this years submission for 2007’s moron of the year competition. Your retarded submission, expansive articulation and innovative grammar really deserve a bigger stage.

You are certainly a leading contender for the award although if you have further submissions, please feel free to post them as I’m sure that others like me would welcome a laugh to see us through these cold winter evenings.
