Motorola CEO Steps Down

It has been announced by Motorola that, Ed Zander, will step down from his post as Chief Executive from 1st January 2008. Zander will remain as chairman until they hold their shareholders meeting in 2008, he has apparently made the decision to leave of his own accord rather than being given the push.
“This is what I wanted to do”, he told The Associated Press.
“You’d like to leave when you’re at the top of your game … You don’t like to leave when you have a year like this with mobile devices.”
