Vanessa Hudgens Dreamed Of Being On American Idol

Apparently Vanessa Hudgens had her hopes set on being an American Idol before she gained international fame from ‘High School Musical.’

It’s said that Vanessa didn’t meet the audition requirements. Vanessa said that “I was 15 at the time and you had to be 16 to audition. So I thought, ‘One more year.’ Then, when I turned 16, High School Musical came along and I got to do it. So I thought I’d skip on American Idol.”

If it was not for High School Musical would Vanessa have made it alone?
