Students in California’s Fresno Unified school district to get 1,000 Asus Eee PCs

If you are like a few people I know then you would like to own an Asus Eee PCs, well it seems that 1,000 students in the California’s Fresno Unified school district will be getting their hands on this small computer devices as officials announce an investment of $650,000.
According to fresnobee.com the students will be able to use these new Asus Eee PCs while still uses their normal textbooks while at school, by using these small notebooks the students are able to create digital portfolio of their essays or even their drawings. About 60 classrooms will have the opportunity to use these small computers, students will have to share them with other classmates, but some worry that it could slow the learning process down.
