Many car makers around the world are producing cars in the hope of decreasing their carbon footprint, but one automaker that I would never have thought of doing this is Ferrari. According to autoweek.com it seems that the new Ferrari Enzo will actually use a twin-turbo V8 instead of the favored V12.
However it seems as if the Prancing Horse has been forced in to decreasing their engine size as a new European CO2 law comes in to effect in 2012. The Italian supercar maker gives a different story though by saying, that they are no longer interested in the power war with their engines. Ferrari always seems to find a way around things, and it seems as if these new V8 engines can still pump out over 900HP.
