Matthew Perry Signs On To Play Zac Efron in 17

Matthew Perry hasn’t had much luck since Friends. His TV show Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip bombed and he’s not been in a good movie since… well, he’s not been in a good movie! So, we’re overjoyed to say that he’s signed on to a new comedy - one which actually sounds like it could be funny.

Perry has signed on to 17, the body-swap comedy about a middle-aged man who wakes up as a teenage and enrols at his kid’s school to keep an eye on them. Perry will be starring alongside Disney’s golden boy Zac Efron (a dozen teenage girls have just fainted at the mere mention of his name!)

So Perry will play older Zac Efron before Zac Efron plays Zac Efron - geddit? The role doesn’t leave Perry much screen time, unless the studio have something up their sleeves to incorporate him in the movie.

I’m so glad that Perry has signed on to this movie, I really think he could show people just what a comic genius he is - that’s unless he ‘does a Chandler!’
