219 MPH on public road in Lamborghini Murcielago LP640: watch video

Ok so let’s get this out of the way, driving a car on a public road at 219 MPH is stupid idea, but that has not stopped someone doing it in a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. We know that the LP640 is an awesome machine, and the bloke in the video is proving it by giving it plenty on these public roads.

The driver tried to reach his top speed on a number of runs, you would think that the idiot would have had enough sense to stop at just one run, but he did not. I just can’t believe that he pushed his luck three times; I just would have been interested to see what a police officer would have made of this fool going 219MPH on a public road, although he would have had to catch him first.
