YouTube and UStream: how good are they for Politics?

There are a number of political events coming up in the coming week and as we know it is like a pressure cooker until the debates start. Many of these debates like the upcoming CNN-YouTube Republican debate will be with us on Wednesday, and there are many more just like this that are to be shown on both YouTube and Ustream.

This now seems to be the new forum for politicians to put their views across and as we know is now very successful. Are you one of those people, who doubt that this is good for politics, or are you like me and feel that theses political candidates realize how powerful the social media works are?
