Pavarotti’s Widow Has Filed A Defamation Lawsuit

It has been reported that Luciano Pavarotti’s widow has filed a defamation lawsuit against two friends of the late tenor.

It is said that Nicolette Mantovani wants to get around $44 million in damages for comments made about her marriage

Nicolette Mantovani Lawyer Anna Maria Bernini has said that the lawsuit was filed last month, after previously warning that any further comments would not be acceptable.

Anna said that “Since the comments did not cease - and were in fact reiterated - Mantovani had no choice but to file the lawsuit. She is doing it to protect her sense of respectability - privately for the sake of her daughter and the memory of the maestro, publicly for her image and any future professional activity.”

Apparently Nicolette has claimed that she will donate any money she receives to charity.
